YOUR GUIDES TO AGING WELL Windward Life Care services start by establishing a relationship with an Aging Life Care Manager. Through a detailed assessment process with their care manager, clients and their families gain an objective perspective on their situation. Care managers develop a plan of care that addresses identified needs and improves quality of life while anticipating developments as the client’s situation evolves. Clients may choose to utilize care management services alone or in combination with Home Care Aide services.
The professional guidance of a care manager is invaluable for long-distance caregivers, working families, and anyone who needs support navigating the maze of the health care and long-term care systems. In the event of a sudden change in an aging parent’s status, families are reassured that a knowledgeable expert is ready and able to respond 24 hours a day, 7 days per week.
